Bob has held director, manager and contributor level positions in both software development and quality assurance organizations. He has over 25 years of experience working in a wide variety of domains at companies including Bayer, Bowe–Bell & Howell Mail Processing, ChannelAdvisor, EMC, Lucent, Unisys and Thomson.

Bob regularly speaks at international conferences and professional groups on topics related to software development, project management, software testing and team leadership. He is a Certified Scrum Master Practicing (CSP) since 2004, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), and an active member of the Agile Alliance & Scrum Alliance. In 2009 he published the book Scrum Product Ownership – Balancing Value from the Inside Out. The book addresses the gap in guidance towards effective agile product management.

Mike Beedle is an entrepreneur that has applied Scrum and Agile to several software companies successfully (New Governance, Quant Traders and Enterprise Scrum). He has introduced Scrum and Agile to thousands of people at hundreds of companies around the world.

Mike’s current interest is in Enterprise Scrum – the simultaneous application of Scrum in a large number of teams some or all which could also be doing distributed development. Mike likes to work with his friends in the Agile and Patterns worlds to explore the union of Scrum, Org Patterns and Complexity Science. Mike has a Ph. D. in theoretical Physics. He is also authoring a new book with the title Enterprise Scrum.

Gelbwaks has a broad array of industry experience, including in aerospace, banking, energy, defense, government, high tech, insurance, and software. He has worked throughout Europe, Latin America, and the U.S. Previously, he was a principal in North Main Consulting, a firm specializing in optimizing organizational agility. He served as director of development and chief agilest at Borland Software, leading a dispersed team of 85 professionals worldwide using offshore development models, and leading organizational transformation across global R&D.
